Employee Benefits Supervisor

The Kempton Group is a trusted, experienced, and innovative third-party administrator for health benefit needs founded on a true belief in transparency and genuine desire to transform how employers and participants view and purchase healthcare.

We are looking for a strong, collaborative Supervisor to help us educate and transform the healthcare and benefits industry. This is a full-time, in-house salaried position with additional bonuses paid on performance.

Other qualities of our next Supervisor will include:

  • Mentor and manage the Account Management Team
  • Lead the Account Management Team to execute on strategic departmental goals
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with clients and Account Management Team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintain updated knowledge in healthcare, insurance, and regulatory environments (HR Benefits experience advantageous)
  • Perform with trust, integrity, honesty, and empathy to both internal and external clients
  • Understands business implications of decisions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Must be/get licensed in Oklahoma and Texas: Life/Accident/Health insurance
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Some travel (20% of time) is required in Oklahoma and Texas.

Account Manager

This is a salaried, full-time, in-house position based out of our Oklahoma City office that provides 90% health insurance paid on the entire immediate family. 

We are looking for a collaborative Account Manager to anticipate our clients’ needs and deliver. Other qualities of our next Account Manager will include:

Sales Representative – Texas

This is a full-time salaried position that provides 90% of health insurance for entire immediate family and also includes additional commissions paid on sales performance. We are looking for a Texas-based, self-motivated Insurance Sales Representative to deliver results through the implementation of effective sales strategies. Other qualities of our next Insurance Sales Representative will include:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive sales.
  • Equally strategic and tactical in running a territory.
  • Comfortable making lots of calls to warm, hot and cold leads.
  • Motivated by making money and building relationships.
  • Passion for clients and client service.
  • Time, territory and account management organizational skills
  • Field-based sales with 80%+ travel required in Texas
  • Takes pride in pursuing and then closing deals.
  • Writes clear quotes and proposals.
  • Leverages technology to enhance performance and achieve sales metrics.
  • Insurance Producers License in Texas: Life, Accident and Health and valid driver’s license.

Kempton Care Advocate

The Kempton Group is seeking a Kempton Care Advocate to be the positive face of our company, helping us meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and participants by providing exceptional service. 

  • Responding promptly to phone calls and emails from clients and members in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to resolve customer issues in a positive, friendly, and effective way.
  • Experience capably communicating complex information to individuals of varying backgrounds and education levels.

Accountant One

We are looking for a strong, collaborative Account to help us educate and transform the healthcare and benefits industry. Other qualities of our next Account will include:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performing with trust, integrity, honesty, and empathy both internally to The Kempton Group and externally.
  • Maintaining records of checks for COBRA payments, refunds, stop loss reimbursements, and commissions as well as making weekly deposits.
  • Preparing monthly financial statements for clients, reinsurance carriers, and account managers. 3
  • Preparing monthly billings for Kempton’s administrative fees.
  • Sorting administrative fee check, matching with supporting documentation, and mailing to vendors each month
  • Record administrative fees in the financial ledger for each client monthly
  • Filing spec claims monthly in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining knowledge and use of various accounting software.
  • Re-mailing returned provider checks with the updated address and update the excel list for Customer Service (daily/weekly).
  • Identifying participant information and preparing PDF sheets for refund checks, send to claims, update excel list, and provide to Customer Service on a weekly basis.
  • Preparing possible spec reports weekly and forwarding them to the claims department for review and processing.
  • Matching W-9’s received daily to the IRS website.
  • Annually reconciling and preparing IRS B-notices (returned 1099 forms).
  • Preparing annual ACA fee invoices and assisting with ACA reporting
  • Data entry as needed.
