Account Manager

The roll of an Account Manager at The Kempton Group is to help us educate and transform the healthcare and benefits industry. Account Managers must have a dynamic set of skills that include working with both current clients, and prospects, to educate, assist, and be a valued resource. The position requires knowledge of self-funding, stop-loss reinsurance, medical plans, dental, vision, long and short-term disability, ACA compliance, and life insurance products. We are looking for a collaborative Account Manager to anticipate our clients’ needs and deliver.

Kempton Care Advocate (Customer Service Representative)

We are looking for a Kempton Care Advocate for our Customer Service Call Center to talk directly tocallers to educate about their employee benefits, solve problems, and find unique savings opportunities for their medical services.

Other qualities and responsibilities include:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to identify
  • Comfortable making lots of calls (inbound and outbound) in call center environment
  • Customer-focused to find the appropriate solution
  • Passionate about all aspects of customer interaction
  • Takes pride in finding quick answers on their own
  • Creates action steps to give customers a “way forward”
  • Demonstrates empathy and understanding with answers
  • Can balance the longer-term goals of the employer sponsored health plan against the immediate needs of the callers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite a MUST
  • Knowledge of HR Benefits would be considered

Benefit Plan Builder

The Benefit Plan Builder will be expected build and modify benefit plans in the claims adjudication system in an accurate & timely manner.

Other qualities & responsibilities include:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Review benefits of prior plans for new clients
  • Present benefit recommendations for plan renewals
  • Audit test claims
  • Run & analyze reports related to accumulators, claims paid, coverage records, etc.
  • Create plan documents such as: Summary Plan Description(SPD), Account Benefits Structure (ABS), Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC), Schedule of Benefits (SOB), etc.
  • Configure benefits to ancillary systems: IVR, member portal, provider portal, etc.
  • Conduct quality control procedures

Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Controller to help manage and improve our organization's financial performance.

  • Preparing financial reports.
  • Analyzing financial data.
  • Monitoring internal controls.
  • Overseeing and preparing income statements.
  • Participating in budgeting processes.
  • Managing financial transactions.
  • Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
  • Developing plans for financial growth.
  • Evaluating and managing risk.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Employee Benefits would be preferred.
  • CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience preferred.
